Wyoming Update

The last few weeks in Wyoming have been even better than the first.  I am primarily working with the youth, which is not something I ever saw myself doing.  However, I am loving it! We have been having a blast going bowling, playing games, and watching movies. On Wednesdays we are going through an awesome Bible study on doctrine, and I feel like I am learning more than I'm teaching.

It seems to get more beautiful here each day.

Pray for growth for the church and the youth group, and that Christ may be glorified in the community.

Pray for Vacation Bible School this week, and that those that are lost may come to know Jesus through this ministry.

Thanks to all my church family, friends, and family for the prayers. They are felt daily.

P.S. I cooked and ate antelope stew this week.

So far, life in Wyoming is awesome! We started off with orientation in Casper on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning. I'm blessed to have gotten the chance to get to know my fellow missionaries for the summer.

On Saturday, we all headed out to our destinations for the summer. The journey was
a little long, but the scenery was fantastic.

I will be working with Fellowship Baptist Church in La Barge, WY for the summer. I have already been overwhelmed by their kindness and generosity.

On Tuesday, I got to travel to Jackson and see the town square and the Tetons!

This picture is the view of the Tetons from inside the Chapel of Transfiguration.

Tonight we had a BBQ and game night for the youth.

Pray for the people of La Barge that do not know Christ, for those that do know Him to passionately pursue Him everyday, and for Fellowship Baptist Church to be the salt and the light.
My prayer for the summer is an echoing of John the Baptist's words in John 3:30, "He must become greater; I must become less."

P.S. This is my ride for the summer...It's a beast!
